OPL The Yamaha YM3812 chip, also known as OPL2 (FM Operator Type-L), and the Yamaha YMF262 (OPL3) could be found on old AdLib and Sound Blaster soundcards (mostly ISA type). They use the Frequency modulation synthesis FM, like on the Yamaha DX7 synth.
